Why Do So Many People Fail at Internet Marketing?

Many people come into the world of online marketing having been lured there by some very clever marketers armed with great material filled with promises of becoming millionaires overnight or certainly within a month of them buying a particular product. They may show real people standing beside small aeroplanes/yachts/flash cars, they may even have some great testimonials on there but how can you determine the authenticity, you can't online, it's all down to trust and this can often be misplaced - you get my drift?

Most people's aim when purchasing a home based business is to get into profit as soon as possible with the ultimate aim of leaving their day job and working from home. You may purchase a high end product that is your internet business that does everything it states it would but does it teach you how to market on the internet? If not, then you're probably in the high percentage of people who buy a home business and wonder why their product's not selling.

Very few people can buy an online business having worked a regular job all their lives and Justify Fullexpect to be an overnight success. You need to learn how to do it, it's not the same as a job, but if you are lucky enough to have step-by-step training within your business then your strategy needs to focus on that. You need to continuously educate yourself and watch and learn as much as you can from the 'gurus' within the business who are up there making the big money.

Don't get caught up in all the hype that is out there or you will quickly lose sight of what you set out to achieve. So where is it so many people go wrong with online marketing? Well the main reasons are:

They don't get educated in online marketing - fundamental thing, they think they have the product everyone wants, they then go to the internet and it doesn't work so they give up. They think "I've got a great product and nobody wants it, this online marketing doesn't work" -they need to be educated in internet marketing.

They try promoting affiliate products with no lists - now some people are very successful with this, but most people coming into an online business are looking to get out of their jobs in the shortest space of time and this type of marketing may not be the best way of achieving this aim in the early stages. I failed with it because I tried to do this with no list in the early stages.

They keep going round in circles looking for the next best thing or latest secret. They don't develop a marketing budget - you can generate a good income through free marketing but to really give you that kick start, you need to evolve your business through paid advertising.
They get told to use traditional techniques - they get told to go and sell to friends, family, co-workers etc and that just can't be duplicated for the majority of people.

The right way to market on the internet is:
Get educated in online marketing - now it's very difficult to give 1-1 tuition to each and every member of your team. What you need is first class training within your business that includes webinars, live training a media vault housing 'how to' products etc.

Generate high ticket sales - if people approach you and say they really want to get started in the online business but just don't have the money just yet, then just wait. If they are determined and really get what it is you're promoting and realise the long-term prospects, the bigger picture, then they will find a way to raise the money. If not, then perhaps they're not the right kind of people you want to bring into the MLM business. It's very easy to get carried away in the early stages when you really want to have that first, second and third sale but if they're not the right individual to help drive your business forward, then this could be a wasted effort on both parts.

Increase marketing budget - don't work really hard for that first sale then bank it and go on holiday, keep increasing your marketing budget. Build your list really rapidly and then you can go on to looking at developing your business in other ways i.e. affiliate marketing but you need to build your lists before doing this.

Promote affiliate and residual income opportunities along the way - this requires little effort on your part once you have built your lists and gained the trust of people on there. You gain this trust by showing them the value of your product, what it can do for them, giving them free educational products along the way.

Just imagine if you could stop going round in circles with your business and just really focus on what it is you are trying to achieve. Your determination and the vision you have for your future should always be your main motivators and everything else will fall into place.
